Polyester plastic bottles are used for carbonated drinks – because they retain the fizz being gas impermeable. These polyester bottles (PET bottles) are recycled and can be spun into a fibre for cloth production (rPET) around 5 plastic bottles are required to make one t Shirt.

Polyester if great fabric since it holds less moisture than cotton and is the basis of all ‘wicking’ fabrics often used for sports and the gym. RPET has the same moisture properties and so can give a high performance T as well as being environmentally friendly.

RPET is particularly soft to the touch and its surface accepts print well to produce great branding.

The shirt shown is a NIKE T shirt with the NIKE swoosh on the sleeve – this means you can place your brand alongside this iconic brand with all the benefits of such an association.
