Virgin paper is sustainable if PEFC or FSC approved. The forests for these papers are managed farms meaning trees are planted for paper use as they are felled. Indeed the forests used for paper are growing in area faster than they are being consumed, meaning they are creating a carbon sink. So we are not against virgin paper use. But most clients like to see the recycled label and we accept that the argument for virgin papers is a complex one.
As well as the recycled paper we also provide the ‘Cobble’ notebook an A5-size wire-o recycled cardboard cover notebook with pen loop. Features 70 sheets 60 g/m² lined inner pages made from stone. Stone paper is 100% tree free and the production process uses less energy compared to recycled or new pulp paper. The paper is water and tear resistant and has a natural white colour (no bleaching involved). Recycled carton, Stone paper.
